Hello everyone! It’s time for more cute crochet projects. And today I will start publishing one of my favorite patterns so far. It’s mini amigurumi toy which I named Bear-Cub-in-Pants. It’s turned out so cute and sweet so I can’t stop crocheting his little brothers and sisters. Come on join me in this project and let’s crochet even more Bears-in-Pants.
- Some yarn of your choice (I suggest YarnArt Jeans)
- A hook (size 1,5 mm)
- A needle.
- Some stuffing.
- Safety eyes.
- 1 button.
- Piece of felt.
HEAD-BODY (1 piece)
We will start crocheting our bear from head.
Use caramel color yarn.
R1 : 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
R2 : increase in each stitch of previous round (12)
R3 : (1sc, increase) repeat 6 times (18)
R4 : (2sc, increase) repeat 6 times (24)
R5 : (3sc, increase) repeat 6 times (30)
R6 : (4sc, increase) repeat 6 times (36)
R7 : (5sc, increase) repeat 6 times (42)
R8 – R11 : 42sc (42)
Attach safety eyes between R8 and R9 (between eyes 5 stitches).
R12: (5sc, decrease) repeat 6 times (36)
R13 : (4sc, decrease) repeat 6 times (30)
R14 : (3sc, decrease) repeat 6 times (24)
R15 : (2sc, decrease) repeat 6 times (18)
R16 : 18sc (18)
R17 : (2sc, increase) repeat 6 times (24)
R18 : (3sc, increase) repeat 6 times (30)
R19 : (4sc, increase) repeat 6 times (36)
R20 – R21 : 36sc (36)
Fold your head eye to eye and you see how many sc you need to crochet to make it symmetrical
Bear’s head is done! Next time we will continue crochet pants for our bear cub.
